Brest Branch of BELAERONAVIGATSIA Republican Unitary Air Navigation Services Enterprise

The history of Brest Airport starts from September 1945. On 05/19/1993, Brest Airport was granted international status.

At the Brest airport, the Brest branch of the state enterprise "Belaeronavigatsiya" carries out the following types of flight support, including international: aeronautical air traffic service, radio engineering and aviation telecommunications, aviation engineering, electro-light engineering, special vehicles, aviation security, emergency rescue and fire fighting, meteorological maintenance of flights, medical examination of aviation personnel of civil aviation.

Brest Airport has one runway with an artificial surface, 2,620 meters long, equipped for instrument approach. The airfield is suitable for round-the-clock operation of A-319-100, A-320-200, A-321-100, A-321-200, B-727-100, B-737-400, B-737-700, B- 737-800, B-767-300, B-767-300ER, IL-62 and other aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 191 tons and a wingspan of up to 51.9 m, as well as helicopters of all types.

Brest Airport is open to all users of the airspace of the Republic of Belarus on equal terms during its operation within the established operating regulations.

The main tasks of the Brest branch are:

  • organization of economic activity in accordance with the Charter of the state enterprise "Belaeronavigatsiya" and within the framework of the powers granted to it;
  • implementation of air traffic organization, airfield, radio-technical, electro-light technical support of flights within the boundaries of the area of ​​responsibility of the branch within the framework of the available permits, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the airport complex;
  • ensuring safety of aircraft movement within the boundaries of the branch's area of ​​responsibility;
  • organization of correct and uninterrupted operation of operated technical means and communications.

Reception of citizens the head of the branch produces weekly on Thursdays from 8.15 to 12.30

Note: if requested by an aircraft operator, the airport can provide landing and take-off of their flights around the clock, all days of the week.
