Brest international airport accepts the following types of aircraft: Boeing-737 -300/800, Boeing-757-200, Airbus-318-100, Airbus-319-100, Airbus-320-100, Airbus-320-200, Ilyushin-76, Tupolev-154 and other aircraft of a lower class. During the summer, the airport has regular flights to Kaliningrad and charter flights to Antalya (Turkey) and Burgas (Bulgaria). A lot of charter cargo flights are serviced at the airport. The airport is very popular with the owners of private aircraft. Flights to a big number of destinations are operated from the airport. Thus, in 2010 flights have been performed to Austria, Afghanistan, Belgium, UK, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Libya, Poland, Portugal, Finland, France, Switzerland and other states.
Objectives and functions of Brest Branch
The airport terminal has been constructed under a special design developed by Brest architects, and is one of most beautiful terminals of the former USSR countries.
